Consignees choose FCL transport when they have enough cargo to fill an entire shipping container. The most common choices are 20’ long and 40’ long containers. Yellow Jersey Logistics specialises in containerised transportation and utilise the Johannesburg to Durban corridor. Our competent staff will monitor the arrival and discharge of all import containers and will keep track of stack dates for export containers.
As a value-added service, Yellow Jersey Logistics offers the client a short-term storage solution at our independent container depot FREE OF CHARGE. This is beneficial when your client requires a staggered delivery, or if external factors such as port or weather delays are experienced and you need to store containers without incurring any additional costs.
Having our own high security depot at our disposal means that customers can pack exports before stacks open and use the depot for transit storage. Once stacks are open, containers will then be transferred to Durban into stacks.
The container depot has 24/7 security patrols, gate access control and camera surveillance. It is also equipped with 30 meters high mast LED lighting poles.
Mounted on a trailer, the Sideloader (sub-frame with cranes) offers a versatile and cost-effective way of loading and unloading containers. Our Sideloader has the ability to lift 30tons, and handles up to 20’, 40’ containers. Some of its functionalities include:

Yellow Jersey Logistics monitors the unpacking of containers at the bonded SARS container depots. The operations department will arrange for the upliftment of the cargo immediately after unpacking.

As part of the service we will oversee the arrival of flights and monitor the check in of all cargo, ensuring that daily collections and deliveries are made well on time from O.R Tambo International Airport. All our drivers are issued with IVS permits, so goods can be traced and also assuring NO interruptions throughout the transport process. Our reliable breakbulk transport system is designed to meet the fast-paced delivery demands of our clients.
