Financial & Audit Advisor

We are seeking a dedicated Financial & Audit Advisor to join our dynamic team. If you’re hardworking, analytical, and passionate about driving financial excellence, we’d love to hear from you!

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Financial & Audit Advisor, you will report directly to the Group Financial Director and be responsible for the following:

Preparing consolidated Group management reports and overseeing the corporate month-end accounting processes across the Group and its companies.
Managing and consolidating the Group's annual budget and forecasting processes.
Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identifying and assessing potential financial risks, recommending mitigation strategies, and implementing risk management policies and internal controls to safeguard the company’s financial assets.
Preparing provisional tax calculations bi-annually.
Developing and implementing effective tax strategies to minimise tax liability and coordinating audits with relevant taxation authorities.
Identifying tax-saving opportunities and providing tax planning services.
Staying updated on industry trends and changes in tax legislation.
Managing the Group audit process and liaising with external auditors.
Overseeing monthly corporate taxes, including EMP, VAT, and income tax submissions.
Ensuring overall tax compliance and administration for the Group and its subsidiaries.
Providing support to the outsourced HR department and Payspace admin users.
Delivering financial decision-making insights and recommendations to senior management, evaluating investment opportunities, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required; a postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CA(SA), SAIPA, or CIMA) is preferred.
Previous work experience in a public accounting firm is advantageous.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams.
Outstanding communication and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong systems aptitude and the ability to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
Proven ability to work autonomously while contributing to a broader team.
Advanced proficiency in computer software, including Excel, MS Office, and accounting packages (experience in Pastel Evolution and Payspace is advantageous).
Knowledge of IFRS for SMEs to assist management in reviewing and signing off on Annual Financial Statements.

3D Modelling/Developer - Contract Work


We require the services of a talented and passionate 3D Modeler/Developer for independent/freelancer projects at LCS.

Experience

Must be fully conversant in using and creating models from architectural plans, sketches, and elevations, and have knowledge of related visualization and photo-realistic rendering techniques.

This is a role that requires a minimum of 1-2 years post-graduation experience in producing high quality architectural / interior still images and animations.
